Lab Reports
- Lab Reports should be written in a formal style agreed
upon by you and your teacher. Minimum requirements include:

- Title
- Abstract (assistance will be provided by your teacher)
- Introductory Paragraph
- Purpose and/or Question(s)
- Materials and/or Apparatus (may include lists and/or illustrations)
- Procedure or Method (numbered steps)
- Observations/Results/Data/Evidence (verbal description, tables,
charts, graphs, illustrations, diagrams, etc.)
- Analysis or Discussions
- Evaluations and/or Conclusions

Lab Reports should be no more than 8 pages in length
(if selected for publication, you may be asked to edit reports for
length, style, or content).

Lab Reports must describe original laboratory or
fieldwork based on classroom-related activities.

You are encouraged to submit colour photos of your
laboratory or field work with your Lab Report (over and above the
8 page limit).

Lab Reports must include references to safety rules
where appropriate. Use WHMIS rules and symbols as required.
